Although ordering pizza from your favorite restaurant can be convenient, sometimes you’d like to custom make your own at home. It’s fun and inexpensive to make a cheese pizza at home, and here’s the way to do it:
First Up: Gather the Ingredients
First, you’ll need to gather a few simple ingredients for your pizza. Of course you’ll need the dough, but you can make it easy on yourself by selecting a prepackaged pizza dough mix. Next, buy a jar of ordinary spaghetti sauce of your choice. You can choose meatless if you like. You’ll also need one half cup of mozzarella cheese, or an entire cup full if you prefer extra cheese on your pizza.
Step By Step
OK, here’s what you’ll need to do:
1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Spread the dough onto a large baking pan, preferably one made for pizza.
3. Distribute the grated cheese over the top of the pizza, leaving about about one quarter inch from the edges. If you prefer, you can use a mix of Parmesan and mozzarella.
4. Bake your pizza for about 20 minutes or until crust is golden and edges crisp.
If you prefer adding some pizza toppings, you can do so before baking the pizza. Add meat or veggies as you prefer.
